CLASSES FOR ALL AGES + LEVELS

SERVING CALGARY IN MULTIPLE LOCATIONS

We specialize in classes for youth ages 4 - 24, and we also offer adult dancing classes in Calgary. We have produced many champion dancers and have won multiple titles in teams and solos at the World Championships, North American Championships, Canadian Championships, and All Ireland Championships.

COMPETITIVE OR RECREATIONAL - AND COSTS

Both recreational or competitive dance options are available. We have reasonable rates, and there is no major fundraising required. Beginner classes start at $75.00 per month plus GST. We are also approved by Kidsport.

We do not require fundraising for recreational dancers. We also have a rental program for costumes and a used shoe program. Irish dancing at Blakey O’Brien can be an affordable activity for kids and adults and doesn’t have to break the bank.

We offer a free lesson so your dancer(s) can try a class in a fun, no-pressure environment. Click on the button at the top of this page to reserve your spot, or e-mail us to schedule your visit.

We can either invite you to one of our existing classes, or book you in for a 30-minute session solo or in a small group. Dancers should wear comfortable exercise-friendly clothing, runners, socks or dance shoes. Parents may attend the trial class to observe and ask questions about our program.

ADULT CLASSES (HIGHWOOD & BONAVISTA LOCATIONS)

A great way to stay fit, have fun, and meet some new friends. Our adult classes start at the beginner level, all the way up to champ classes for dancers with more experience. Get your heart beating with some great Irish tunes and movement. Soft shoe and hard shoe are included in the classes. Performance and competition opportunities are available, or just come for the workout!
